The Best….no seriously. This is the best chocolate chip cookie you’ll ever bake.

It’s a pretty simple recipe but the key is to do the essential steps. If you take the steps, your chocolate chip cookies will come out better than a Panera cookie; nice crisp on the outside but chewy and soft on the inside. So good. Let’s do it.

What you’ll need:

  • 1 Cup Butter

  • 3 1/4 cup Flour

  • 1 1/4 tsp Baking Powder

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 1/2 medium grained kosher salt

  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • Bittersweet chocolate chips (good couple handfuls)

  • Flaky sea salt

Mix your wet ingredients together, but do so after melting the butter on low in a pan and then mixing the sugars in. Place in a bowl and stir in the eggs one at a time. Then combine the wet with the dry ingredients.

For one cookie, place a good three spoonfuls on the pan, mush together and split in half….then press lightly together again, this makes them look delectable.

Place oven at 360 and bake for 10-12 minutes, turn the pan halfway through.
